It was a pretty lopsided fight, Loma was 2 steps ahead of him & walking him into traps all night. I wish I could rewatch it but apparently its been scrubbed from the internet.

I felt that it was closer than the cards showed.

A lot of people were fooled by the appearance of slickness from Loma, but he was getting hit more than he had been. I felt that it warranted a rematch.

One of those "close but clear" losses for Gary.

Eh I think 116-112 was about right and that's because I gave GRJ the benefit in some close rounds based on activity.

I think Russell was competitive in most rounds, a few of them were one sided beatings though and he was hurt in at least 3.

Scoring criteria aside he got pretty beat up, but I give him credit for heart and toughness. He proved in that fight and since that he is a top fighter, hes just not on Lomas level.

Pretty sad. I was waiting for him to say his trunk tassles weighed him down. What is up with today's fighters making so many b.s. excuses? Loma should never give this dude a rematch. Just so he can simmer in his own steaming **** for the rest of his life.

Very poor sportsmanship. Russell has talent but he was outclassed pretty easily by Loma.

If you go back and watch the last round of this fight Russell was close to being stopped. Had it gone another round it would have been over. Pure delusional and if you believe this fight was in any way close, you’re nuts.

Not a good look for Russell here imo, especially the comments about just not trying to make weight in order to win.
