Russell needs to get his own career on track. I really like him and in my opinion he can be as good as anyone out there if he starts fighting more. He needs to fight a minimum of 2 and preferably 3 times a year from now on, if he does, I believe he can compete with anybody.

I felt that it was closer than the cards showed.
A lot of people were fooled by the appearance of slickness from Loma, but he was getting hit more than he had been. I felt that it warranted a rematch.
One of those "close but clear" losses for Gary.

I personally found it more one sided than the judges. I saw it like 10 rounds to 2 for Loma. The only rounds he lost were rounds that he took off as he may have been worried about the pace. Gary was trying to steal rounds by throwing combos at the air LOL

I remember that fight. It felt like GRJ missed 95% of his punches, there were a lot of moments were Russel does 5-10 punch combinations hitting air all night and all Lomachenko does is pump a jab on his face and all of his shoe shining were wasted.

Delusional.
The one and only time grj truely stepped up, and he got outclassed.
He spent 90% missing slapping “shoe shine” combinations, and Lomachenko was punishing him to the body and bringing it up top well too.
What has grj done since ?
