When has Russell shown any serious desire to compete with the best since that loss? I like Gary, he's a great boxer, but he has squandered his prime with inactivity. If he moves up to 135 and gets schooled, fans will just treat it like they did Rigo...he was too small, he came up two weight classes, he was inactive, etc. I notice he looked right past Shakur, Berchelt, Tank and others in his pursuit of a rematch.

Nah,. I remember that fight and once Loma got going at about round 4, Gary was chasing shadows and getting worked over. He probably won maybe 4 rounds but there is no way he won that fight. He was 2nd best, I'm afraid.
