Beterbiev, dunno why but from the Callum Johnson fight I thought he was a basic albeit effective slugger who could get caught due to being sloppy. Turned out he's way more technical and tough than I gave him credit for.

I would have to say I underrated wilder . I figured he was ****ed the second he fought a decent guy ( iam talking just top 10 guys not the top 3 ). I figured stiverne would stand up to him and beat him for sure , stiverne came off a great performance vs arreola but still had a lot of question marks ( maybe I overrated stiverne based off that win ) . That being said I never expected wilder to win that title ,let alone defend it 9 times ( albeit vs a who's who of top 10-20 opponents ). If wilder retired today he hugely over achieved in my eyes. I expected the next michael grant straight up , didnt think he would ever wrap a belt around his waist.

Monte Barret. He stood down the monster of David Tua.
And what he did to ty fields on national television was spectacular!

I definitely underrated Bellew. I'm usually pretty good about appreciating a fighter and what makes them relevant and giving them a good chance but I did underrate him. I thought I underrated Andy Ruiz but I may have been right initially. Don't get me wrong, I knew he was good, but I now have to wonder if his upset and failed defense were mostly about conditioning or is it just that AJ made the right adjustments and picked up the pieces like a true champion. I had Parker maybe a little overrated and was impressed with Ruiz's showing against him before that also, and did rate Ruiz.

A lot of people underestimated Bellew at CW. They judged him by his performances at 175 and didn't understand what a massive difference the extra 25lb made to his overall game.

I used to watch Dwyer's videos regularly, because he seemed to be such a thoughtful and insightful analyst. But after Bellew got stopped by Usyk, Dwyer compared that outcome to Bellew vs Stevenson, and said that, based on what he saw in those 2 fights, Stevenson would be a real threat to Usyk if he ever moved up to 200lb. I stopped watching the video as soon as he said that and I've never gone back to Dwyer's channel since.

Usyk is a fighter I massively underrated before he entered the WBSS. Based on what I saw of him during the London Olympics, and his early pro fights, I actually thought he was a semi retard with great reflexes and natural athletic ability, lol.
