Pacquiao. Right before the Barrera fight. I was a big Barrera fan, was pissed when Pac beat him. The more I followed him the more I became a believer.

Sure, all the time. It's not that big a deal to underrate. I only feel wrong when I've overrated.

A different way of saying that is a bit of skepticism is always a good thing. Going over the top in support of a specific fighter is playing with fire.

          Badou Jack.
I picked Dirrell, Groves, Stevenson to knock him out. Never particularly rated him on the way up either but he proved to be a solid fighter.

          Josh Warrington.
I watched him as a prospect and said to one of my friends I’d be surprised to see him win a British title, he proved me completely wrong. Credit to him.

Tyson Fury. Thought he was a total goofball with a big mouth at the beginning, would have never believed he would be the one to end the reign of Klitschko. Actually didn't think he would even make it out of the domestic scene to be honest.

              he over-achieved during his career... big-time !

maybe the point you made is clouding my vision a little with Usyk

I cannot get the Bellew fight out of my mind when evaluating Usyk

the problem is.... we really have very little to judge Usyk

Probably Manny Pacquiao before he fought Miguel Cotto 'I picked Cotto to beat him'.
