Would Luis Ortiz be CHAMP in any other era

Was he just unlucky to run into a peak Deontay Wilder?

Probably not if you match him against the Champions.

Maybe if he was 10 years younger.

    Maybe against Chris Byrd, Brewster??

    Would he beat Klitschko?
    Would he beat Lewis?

He would have been champ in the fat boy era.Tubbs Page Bey Spoon & drug addict Pinklon Thomas days.Weaver would not have beat him and Dokes couldn’t even defend vs That big South African bum.Every thing I’ve read or watched would suggest Cooney wouldn’t go near a fighter like Ortiz unless it was for huge money and the tittle.

He would have been champ if he was able to fight for vacant belts like Martin, Parker and Joshua did after they stripped Fury.

He's not beating Joshua, Fury, Wilder, Wlad, or Vitali. He could possibly beat Ruiz, Brewster, Byrd type champs, but if he ran into the 90's heavy's he's not beating Lewis, Holyfield, Foreman, Tyson, or Bowe. He's not gonna beat Spinks, Tyson, or Holmes in the 80's and he's not gonna beat Foreman, Nortan, Fraizer, Ali, and Liston in the 60's and 70's, so i'm not sure he could, it's not a given he can beat Chris Byrd or Lamon Brewster either

Joshua won the belt from Martin, so how did he win a vacant belt?

And Parker did win a vacant belt but he beat Ruiz for it and not confident Ortiz could beat either of them.

If you cherry pick him a weak champion like Joe Parker, Charles Martin, Nikolai Valuev, Siarhei Liakhovich, etc then sure.

I don't think Ortiz would be the consensus best in any era, but he's better than a lot of individuals that have been champion at some point.

What do we know about Parker, fast hands, very good chin, good stamina, cons can switch off in fights sometimes.

Well Ortiz doesn't have stamina into the second half of a fight and Parker is a guy who he is very unlikely to get rid of early.

I see it like the Whyte v Parker fight except Ortiz would be gassed earlier

Parker turtled the entire fight against Joshua and I think he'd do the same against Ortiz.

Ortiz would just potshot him on the outside and wait to hit him with that counter left when he comes out of the shell.

I don't rate Parker highly at all.
