How is it not Broner? Broner was legitimately called "the next Mayweather" and going into the Maidana fight, he was considered a p4p fighter about to become the sport's next cash cow.

Thurman was never hyped as anything besides the best current welterweight, which he probably was at one point.

Golovkin had some fringe ATG hype, but overall he was considered exactly what he was, a great middleweight. He has a legitimate case as the best MW since Hopkins. He was a bit overhyped by some people but he lived up to being a damn good fighter.

Wilder was never really hyped. He was what he was, a huge puncher who made it further than anyone expected. It's not like people really thought he was great.

Kovalev earned his hype and then some. The man beat Andre Ward in many people's eyes. He was a great light heavyweight.

Same with Gonzalez, Gonzalez earned what little hype he got and then some.

Khan was probably the most overhyped fighter here besides Broner. People still think he outboxed everyone who knocked him out and that Mayweather was scared of him. Still, he didn't get "next Mayweather and future of the sport" hype like Broner did.

Amir Khan. You STILL have idiots on here claiming that Floyd ducked him.

It’s much more important to have street cred than actually sticking to what you do well
And , like all the others who came before him and fell in the same strut , he’s proving it by getting in trouble with the law
                  No, he really doesn’t.

I was very diappointed with Garcia. I didn't expect him to beat Spence but I didn't expect him to not try.
