I guess we will never really know because GGG was on the outside looking in, much like McCallum to the 4 horsemen. He was 34 when he was finally able to get a fellow p4p in the ring, and after schooling him for 8 to 10 rounds out of 12...he was screwed by the judges. No, it wouldn't have made him "Hagler", but beating Canelo was definitely top-tier material.

Well GGG didn’t Canelo, and to say when GGG was 34 and “finally able to get...” is soft ass fan hood. He milked 160 because he was afraid to get hit to the body at higher weight classes.

I don’t even think some of the names on the list deserve to be there, Wilder doesn’t deserve to be on that list, Wilder only started getting hyped around 2018 prior to that not a lot of people who hyped him now even followed him. I was ONE of the guys who followed his career, even when he was being dogged for slowing down the Povetkin mandatory prior to agreeing to the fight and then Povetkin testing dirty. He only started getting hyped around 2018 when Joshua got some hype behind him.

But to answer the thread I would say Luis Ortiz. Am still waiting to figure out what this guy did that made him special to some people. The hype with him was unreal. He was hyped up like GGG when GGG came onto the seen by the September 2012 GGG fans, who thinks everyone but God was ducking GGG after his debut against Proksa.

Out of the names you listed probably Adrien Broner.

Gary Russell Jr. is another name that instantly springs to mind. He probably hasn't got a long time left in boxing, yet he stills feels like that prospect who you're waiting to see do something.

You know better, but I understand by your name that you will be glad to accept the corrupt decision of the judges in the first bout.
And you also show lack of understanding of history. GGG was going for the MW record of defenses. Somehow that makes him less of a fighter? Lame, sir.
