GGGs best win is a decision over daniel jacobs. So much for being the KO machine he was hyped as. Anyone can KO c level fighters.
Broner is like the worst 4 division champ in history and living proof that collecting titles in multiple divisions isnt what it used to be. Without looking it up I cant even tell you who he beat for a title at 147, maybe a vacant belt for paulie M or somthing ****** like that. Broner was over hyped to the moon.Comment

People said wilder was the hardest punching heavy of all time, that is not the same as saying he was the best heavy of all time. Previously they said Shavers who also wasnt ever called the best of all time. There is still ample evidence that he amongst the elite KO punchers at heavyweight, he has still stopped or dropped every guy hes ever faced.Hard one between GGG and Wilder. One was compared to Hagler and the other to Mike Tyson or hardest punching heavyweight of all time.
When both came to fight real ones we realize it was the UFC formula to build stars vs the pragmatic approach. Forget the theory... it’s all about who you actually fight and doComment

I wouldn't describe GGG as a hype job, but no fighter has gotten more over the top hype than he has. You had people claiming he was an ATG middleweight and ATG p4p puncher when his best win was Lemieux. As someone else mentioned, the hype behind him was almost cultish-- people would claim he'd deliberately run his face into punches just to show off lol, and revisionists tried to claim he dominated the division for over a decade when he was an afterthought fighting scrubs on the sidelines for a large portion of his career.Comment

What planet are you boys living on? I have to step back on all of this. You guys are in your early 20's and 5 years ago when GGG was completely wrecking everybody and winning all the time (1st and 2nd Canelo included), you guys were just starting to experience boxing.
So there's no point unless you're in person discussing this. NOBODY, that I've EVER been around... has ever argued that Canelo beat GGG....
And I'm in the gym... with fighters....Comment
