Ricky Hatton vs Juan Manuel Marquez

HeII I mean the fight could still happen haha. But let's say these two squared off at 140 around 2009ish? And also consider what the fight may look like before Pac iced him. Hatton is a two handed, come forward brawler with very underrated power for his stature. People trash Hatton because he lost big against Floyd and Pac. Obviously it's nothing to be ashamed about because each foe are 2 of the greatest of all time. Do you think Hatton pre or post-Pac would stop Marquez?

    What about today?

He's bigger and stronger than Marquez. Not to mention his feet are close to the speed of Pac

Not sure what or why you think he’s stronger

I think it'll look like a lot of Marquez's other fights.

Close and competitive early on, both guys landing some hard shots. Marquez gets dropped at some point. He gets back up, boxes and wins a few rounds, eventually gets more aggressive and stops Hatton late.

Marquez stops almost any version of Hatton

If you take an absoloutle peak version of Hatton from the Tszyu fight and have the fight in Manchester with the help of the ref, Hatton might be able to maul and spoil his way to a very controversial win

But thatd have to be hattons absoloute best night and he'd still not win cleanly

                  Marquez just a level above
