I have to disagree with you on this. It is not like Wilder just needs a few adjustments or just include a new game plan against Fury. Wilder has no boxing skills at all. He lacks just about all the basics. He has gotten so far based on his power, very good match making, fighting mainly c and d level boxers, and the weakest heavyweight division in the history of boxing.

He is already to old to start over. He would actually need to start at the beginning like a kid who goes to the boxing gym for the first time. He does not have the temperament to start all over, and he is too arrogant to start over. Most of all the guy will not admit the truth to himself, he is in deep denial.

You don’t learn fundamentals at age 35.

I thought Atlas predicted Wilder would win that fight tho??

Wilder isn't a bad boxer just look at the punch stats for the first fight. Not much in it. He's also *very* good at landing his right hand. Often with no set-up.

As usual people are reading too much into one defeat. Just like Ruiz/Joshua - "AJ is finished. He quit etc". I was the one saying even if AJ loses again, it's not over for him - because Ruiz is just one opponent.

So let's see how Wilder performs next fight. Whatever the reason Wilder did look poor this fight.

All these peoples who think Wilder doesn’t have skills are wrong, he have, it’s just that his style and skills are focused around his power, and btw Wilder was winning the 2st rounds until he caught back of his head.

Remember that overall, he is an Olympic bronze medalist. So he does know how to fight. He have some skill. He just has to learn to implement them. He fought against some of the best amateur boxers in the world. So his best boxing skills are still inside of him.

Keep AJ’s name out of yer mouth. You’re obsessed with the guy and can’t stop spamming his name everywhere even on threads that have nothing to do with him.

Wilder should've switched trainers ages ago. he came out vs Fury circling in the wrong direction. already making mistakes before throwing a punch. might be too late to save him.

That's not terrible advice, I like that kind of talk in a corner, it pumps you up.

He doesn't have to. He has been boxing professionally now for 11 years.
