however in GGG's favour, hes pulled this off twice, and has 2 number one contender defences to add to it.

Be mad at DAZN. They're the ones paying him a huge guarantee to fight lesser quality opponents. That being said, Dervyanchenko wasn't a pushover, nor would he have been against Canelo. But overall, BOTH Canelo and GGG haven't had AS big a fight commercially since their last fight. That's EXACTLY why DAZN went after Golovkin (and apparently Golden Boy helped which adds to a bit of the Drama). Canelo and GGG still need one another (right now) to make for a big event with what's available.

Canelo is selecting difficult opponents, Golovkin is still selecting the easiest opponent

e.g.
he happily fought Derevy, immediately after publicly stating that fighting Charlo and Andrade "made no sense"... which, makes no sense

Golovkin is copping flak because it is clearly obvious that him and Canelo are cut from a different cloth... Canelo has many more options than Golovkin, simply because he is willing to fight anyone

Golovkin is extremely lucky to be getting another handout from Canelo... especially after all those excuses, never giving Canelo any credit
