Did he serve his time? I thought he failed around time of Hammer fight, then refused to be tested for Wlad rematch when they showed up, then he had his weight, coke issues etc. then got a backdated ban once he wanted to comeback.
Fury fan narrative is he's a hero because addiction and mental health took him away in his prime but he overcame it to come back. Now it's just he was a drug cheat serving a ban and everyone acknowledged it? Nope, not how it happened. Fury fans said for years he was innocent, the victim of a witch-hunt, now the truth comes out it's a case of 'move along nothing to see here'?
All that said, I do agree it's difficult to say someone should get an extra ban for something they already got a ban for several years ago. Boxing needs far better testing, not some guys tested sometimes at random and then different punishments in different cases. There's no real consistency, some guys get a positive test swept under the rug others get banned
