One Smith brother already gave Canelo SHT rankings and a bad rep.
Let’s double down and do it again said NO one fkn EVER!!!Comment

I just told you his promoter is saying differently & the article you reference is based on a YouTube video interview from bt sport if I recall where Smiths statement is to be taken with a grain of salt considering just yesterday theres a video where his trainer said Smith might still get it. Smith is not going to admit that he lost the fight because he priced himself out after saying he would not & supposedly "just wanted canelo at all cost"(& the only thing that changed between then & now was he arguably lost to Ryder & CLEARLY no longer was so full of confidence)Comment

Granted, Smith's rep took a hit vs Ryder but Saunders hasn't exactly dazzled at 168 either and Lemieux performance was quite some time ago.
As things stand, Smith holds the WBA and Ring titles and I think it's fair to say that Golden Boy would place value on having Canelo parade the Ring Magazine belt so I can't say he's being unreasonable here.Comment

Callum Knew in his own heart Canelo might actually kill him and or cause brain damage. He was trying to get enough money to support him and his family for their lifetimes since he knew he would no longer be able to Provide for them after this fight. His plan didnt work but at least he has his health.Comment

Dude stfu you’re lame you were offered you’re highest payday but instead you wanted to be greedy and cash out instead of actually proving yourself ****kk off you lying pos now that Bjs has the fight now you wanna act like you wanted it.
This clown has been exposed now he can waste the rest of his career losing to bums like Ryder. He was offered the fight and turned it down demanding double what he was offered. Saunders was offered the same money countered with a amount reasonable to his offer. Canelo negotiated with saunders because he would take less. Next time don't price yourself out. Smith and Saunders both been making 1M or less but Smith demanded to be paid like Jacobs and now upset because he gets nothing. LMAOBJS is a better fighter. And style match up.
Ryder picked up 8 rounds for me. I know Smith has to believe in himself but ever since that fight he has been more vocal about his talents than ever.
He should rematch Ryder and show us why he's so much better than him because I don't think he is.Smith is an idiot and he and his team have just made one of the dumbest financial decisions in the history of boxing. He could of made a record purse and the biggest purse in his career. We all know that Smith is not as good as we first thought and more than likely he will lose in the near future thus never getting another golden opportunity to fight the biggest cash cow in boxing.
It used to be if you were offered a fight with the biggest star in boxing one would jump at the offer and take the fight. Now fighters reject the offer and then end up losing against someone else thus never getting a 2nd bite at the apple. What a moron Smith is.
Fighter A offered career high payday with chance to earn a LOT more every future fight AND...to avenge his bros loss
Fighter A priced himself out
Fighter A now suggests Canelo ducking
Hehe "okay"Comment

Smith is an idiot. He didn't even deserve 6 million to begin with, because he got beaten by Ryder and got a gift in his last outing
he should have jumped over the cash cow's offer, get a career high payday and the opportunity of becoming a star himself.
Now he'll have to rematch Ryder for peanuts, lolLast edited by lopetego; 03-08-2020, 12:43 PM.Comment

Callum hasn't fought anyone but a bunch of Real Estate agents. Online nerds think anyone undefeated is an amazing fighter because they don't watch the fights - just the highlights and they look at the records. Casual newb Simps
Canelo took the best fight possible; unfortunately for him - BJJ's style is a problem for him. Big problem. And BJJ showed you when he stepped right up to that Bully Wilder that he has the guts to take the risks needed to ensure another Lemieux-like schooling.Comment
