well define better? Saunders is more skilled while Smith is bigger and stronger. Here's the truth, Saunders does have a style that can be troublesome for Canelo or anyone, but he hasn't been impressive since lemieux in 2017. The potential for him to cause canelo problems is based on the belief that he can return to form, get motivated and re capture his old style. Not to say it hasn't happened before because fury did it, but it also isn't common that this happens in sports... Especially boxing. It's tough to just "turn it on" when it's been off for a while.Who’s better. Smith or Saunders??? Saunders is a sht talker so that part should be fun!
I’m taking Canelo by TKO. I think that left hook to body will eventually take Saunders legs away and then he gets caught.
Saunders can’t exchange with Canelo. Isn’t better in any category but foot speed.Comment

Mr Smith your kidding yourself if you really think your a world champ, in my eyes you are a former world champ, John ryder beat you easy and hands down, it really was a disgusting decision that night and you know it. You never deserved the canelo fight. Rematch John ryder and maybe you can redeem yourself.Comment

I’m not going to argue there. You know I wanted neither one. A skilled Southpaw is always dangerous. I have zero clue which one shows up??? Smith I had losing like 8-4 and 9-3 was not out of the question and Canelo is a bazzilion times better then Ryder. Canelo would knock him out in 4 roundswell define better? From the article;Actually Hearn has stated numerous times that whichever took the lowest price would get it(just the other day he said Smith wanted 10 mil or nothing). Both Smith/Hearn both are on record saying that they wanted what Jacobs got & they got different offers & were negotiating differently because they have seperate teams of negotiators(the report you reference is being based on YouTube videos as most Boxing news is these days)
"They made me an offer which I believe was too low. I said no. Billy Joe rejected the same offer. I thought we'd start negotiating and we'd have some back and forth. But that was it. He made one offer then went to social media saying that I didn't want the fight" Smith told Sky Sports.

Fair enough but according to the article both guys rejected the same offer. They went back to Billy but not Smith.
I'm not mad at either fight by the way.Comment

Well if Smith wanted this fight, then you accept whatever offer was presented. Hearn had said the offer was around 6 million. Yeah, it's not the tens of millions he probably wanted, but it's the opportunity to take the fight that's going to catapult you're career if you win and would bring those tens of millions you seek after you win. 6 million isn't chump change and if Smith truly wanted it, the opportunity was there. Smith has no one to blame but himself and Eddie, I'm starting to think that Eddie sees Smith as more of a cash cow in the U.K than Saunders and was willing to put up Saunders more than Smith.Comment

I just told you his promoter is saying differently & the article you reference is based on a YouTube video interview from bt sport if I recall where Smiths statement is to be taken with a grain of salt considering just yesterday theres a video where his trainer said Smith might still get it. Smith is not going to admit that he lost the fight because he priced himself out after saying he would not & supposedly "just wanted canelo at all cost"(& the only thing that changed between then & now was he arguably lost to Ryder & CLEARLY no longer was so full of confidence)From the article;
