And that is precisely why I could have done without all the Kownacki pre fight hype.. I was thinking man just get on with it..

But more times than not when someone is 3-4" taller and more athletic, in shape with longer reach and bigger frame (along with skills of course) they are going to win unless you are really something special..and ultimately while Kownacki is a above average tough guy who can fight the reality is he's nothing Special...

This is why you have to actually fight someone to beat them, not sit back and say that you can and you could beat them. Prove it in the ring. Wilder has avoided the best for years and when he finally stepped up, he lost badly. Kownacki thought he could beat bums and get a title shot instead of fighting better and he gets stopped. The PBC model is dead, they need to give us competitive fights or get out of boxing. This whole thing of giving us cherry picks are starting to backfire. Kownacki just got embarrassed in front of all the Polish fans they could find in New York hahahaha.

Kownacki's offense is his volume and pressure, I think he he starts being more defensive minded he's going to lose his offense/volume and then he's in a world of hurt. He needs more pop in his punches.

Man I'm so happy for Helenius. Very unlucky in his career with injuries but always seemed a quality boxer to me. Reminds me a bit of Vitaly in his style, not saying he's anywhere near that level but he's far better than what he's shown. Kownacki was always going to head down this path just like Wilder. That focus solely on pressure while forsaking defence was always to going to lead to this conclusion. And he wanted Wilder???? Wilder would have taken his head clean off his neck.
