Well look who you’re talking to. Anyone that’s really blown away with weight hopping and trinket collecting is a bit suspect and not understanding context or just makes up things to suit their claims.

He’d be more impressed if Beterbiev won a trinket off a easy champ at cruiser than if Beterbiev cleaned out and became undisputed at 175. Says it all.

Why didn’t Roy Jones Jr stay at HW to fight Lennox Lewis after beating John Ruiz? Why go back down to 175?

Why didn’t Pacquiao stay 154 to fight Canelo after beating Margarito? Why go back down to 147?

Why didn’t Leonard defend his WBC LHW title vs Virgil Hill after winning it against Lalonde?

Not one!
160 is Canelo's EFFECTIVE MAX WEIGHT (168 for cash fights that aren't super hard). The Kov fight was their for the taking but that was just to collect a major belt.

Why is staying at one weight some kind of mortal sin. It was good enough for great champions Monzon, Hagler, Pryor, Zale etc. etc, Canelo targeted a weak old champion in Kovalev with no intention of ever fighting Bivol or Beterbiev and Canelo cannot make 168 anymore. Why won't Canelo give a champion he beat in his backyard by a single pint a rematch????? If Canelo offers GGG a rematch at 168 he will move to 168 and fight him in a heartbeat. Meanwhile GGG is a champion of the world at 160 so why should he move to 168?

GGG did not move up because he is a POOOOOSY !

you g-strings need to explain why Golovkin was willing to fight Chavez at 168, but not Ward... whats up with that?

Because Canelo has learned from Floyd to take the biggest name fights with the least risk.

Why can't Beterbiev fight Bivol already? Why can't he move up and fight Usyk, Joshua, Wilder, and Fury?

What exactly has he done since turning pro? How long has he been a pro and who's his biggest fight?
