I understand where Andy Ruiz is coming from.

For me is understandable that Andy Ruiz need a tune up fight and this is the correct choice after the defeat against Joshua. Dillian Whyte is a high risk fight for Andy, who need to get shit done, before fighting another top contender.

Whyte wanted him to take the fight on short notice. Ruiz didn't even have a trainer and was morbidly obese, probably 100 pounds over weight.

The place will stink of Ruiz v Arreola... Ruiz-Ortiz would have been better

Yeah I know that you ****en clown. B sample always talking crap on older opponents that don't speak English and then he goes and fights Povetkin, but was scared to face Luis Ortiz.
It's called politics if you follow the sport you'll know that Ruiz is going to stay faithful to Haymon and fight the PBC stable of HWs and not sign with the snake Hearn.

Whyte was flabby and labored against Wach, but he won. He picked an opponent who wasn't going to be particularly dangerous and coming off the layoff and drama with the testing ordeal, he was right to pick a safe opponent.

Ruiz first loss was a close, disputed loss against Parker in his backyard. even with that he took soft touches after that swrback. Now, Ruiz is coming off a clear loss. It's pretty clear he wasn't mentally there before the fight (only his fault) and based on his post-fight actions, he's still it mentally there.

Should he have jaw jacked about a fight with Whyte? No. Is he wrong for wanting a tune-up? No.

It's really as simple as that.

Good joke, tell me another. Chisora 1 he lost. Parker fight was a joke as well the headbutt knockdown if that goes away it was a draw. You can't be one sided just because you like his PED taking sloppy ass. Beating Ortiz twice alone is two wins better than anything Whyte has. Joshua has a better resume than Wilder but not Whyte.
