The role ******* played in boxer's careers? Fury, Calzaghe, Whitaker, Tyson?

Calzaghe's style had me wondering back in the day if the dude was on ******* during some of his fights, he later got caught on hidden camera buying ******* although I think that was after he'd retired. Possible he'd used it during his career too?

Mike Tyson revealed that he once fought high on coke. Drug testing loopholes? Tyson used a fake d!ck filled with urine to pass the test. In his autobiography he mentioned the Saversse fight where he was high on coke, linked below.

Fury, we know has a dark history with heavy ******* usage which I believe propelled his depression to near-suicidal levels. Unlikely he fights high on coke like Tyson, but not impossible?

What role do you think ******* played in boxer's careers, their style, their abilities, if any?

In Fury's case I think his "addiction" was overblown..... the guy just had a few lines when he was at his lowest and then stopped it.

I think ******* would be ok for Tyson if he only has to go a couple rounds.... but I do not see how it benefits any one in a tough fight going more than that.

Calzaghe I don't think ever took drugs in a fight or in the build-up to fights. Would not be surprised if he dabbled in it outside of camps though.

Nothing beats the bullshėt spewed by Vinny Pazienza when he declared that he lost a fight (can't remember which one at the moment, perhaps vs Roy Jones Jr?) because he had been too high on cappuccino prior to entering the ring.

        I don't think there's a roll in it. From what I understand.
        You don't smoke it.

May have shortened their careers or had no effect.

Almost certainly nothing positive came from it.

Maybe not a physical benefit but could be a psychological benefit because of that confidence and euphoric coke effect..
