Plant was sent the offer 3 weeks ago this is a rehash article with old quotes and news. The offer was sent before he fought his last fight. His team was asked if you beat this mismatch guy and suffer no injures do you want to fight Canelo. After his last fight he admitted to reports he got the offer and turned it down. Time of the offer he had almost 3 months more then enough time to get ready. No injuries coming off a cream puff stay busy fight he is young in his 20's why does he need all this rest?

It doesn’t matter who is put before you, you train as if you gonna fight Mayweather or Mike Tyson. You don’t cut corners just because you have a bum in front of you but give it your all. Name one current champion that’s doing a turn around that fast. Kovalev did it and look what it got him.

Ruiz did it with less time and beat Joshua and Canelo did the same turnaround after beating GGG to fight Fielding. Almost 3 months from 1 fight to the next is not unheard of. Especially when you are young and coming off non competitive fights. Fighters used to fight routinely 5 times a year at world class level. lol Definitely not strange for a 1 off when you are coming of a cupcake stay busy mismatch and have a shot at the biggest fighter in your sport. If you need more then 3 months to rest when you haven't fought a live opponent?
