Fury VS AJ should be in the U.S.

More money in the US but 100,000 people filling a football stadium in the UK watching two Brits fight for the titles in the biggest UK fight ever (by some margin probably) > a bit of extra ESPN coverage and it just being another Vegas fight. Then add to that the unrivalled atmosphere, the fact its obviously more fitting and just that the Brits deserve this fight the most, and really it'd be a massive missed opportunity to hold it anywhere else.Comment

Eddie would want it elsewhere and try to give any advantage to AJ
But I also would understand the UK fans being angry and disappointed if not held over in the UKComment

Then It will be viewed as a domestic fight when the fight could be much bigger globally. I'm not being xenophobic (live in the US but born in another country) here just realistic. The American media will totally ignore it besides the niche boxing journalists here. Fury has been building his brand successfully here in the states with ESPN and it would undo all of that hard work if he reverted to the UK for one of the biggest fights that boxing can make.
It's in AJ's interest as well. He probably won't fight Wilder now but this is his chance to build his name in the US.Comment

There are other items to check off. Some fans will travel to Wembley, but most will come from London and the surrounding area. Take a Jubilee or Metro train, or the Wembley rail if you're coming from further away, get off, have a few brews outside (no alcohol in the stadium), go home after the fight. Not a lot of money passed into the economy.More money in the US but 100,000 people filling a football stadium in the UK watching two Brits fight for the titles in the biggest UK fight ever (by some margin probably) > a bit of extra ESPN coverage and it just being another Vegas fight. For Vegas....15,000 Brits travel to the US. Buy plane tickets, stay at a hotel for a few days, the wife spends money at the stores, the Brit fan loses at the poker tables, go to the Hoover Dam, they spend money eating out and drinking like fish. Then another day or two of the same activities and they fly home.
BIG DIFFERENCE. Way more money spent and passed into the economy than a fight in London. The 100,000 tickets (actually more like 90,000) are not the big money maker here; the food/drink/lodging/travel money is the bigger deal.Comment

Being in the UK would make it bigger in Europe. I doubt it would even sell that well in the US. I'm sure Joshua and Fury would like to go down in history as being a part of the biggest British fight ever over just being a fight in Vegas. Then It will be viewed as a domestic fight when the fight could be much bigger globally. No they should have it in Nigeria, Fury, Joshua and Wilder are all Nigerians. The people of that country would welcome all of them, especially now that Wilder is visiting there this week. With Fury wearing their flag on his gumshield and AJ just back from there.Comment

Then it becomes a domestic fight instead of a global showdown. Do you think that ESPN and Arum would want Fury to fight in the UK instead of the US? Fury is on fire right now and the American public loves him. The American media will hardly cover a fight that will be shown in another country and televised on a Saturday at 2pm.More money in the US but 100,000 people filling a football stadium in the UK watching two Brits fight for the titles in the biggest UK fight ever (by some margin probably) > a bit of extra ESPN coverage and it just being another Vegas fight. Fury VS AJ for the heavyweight crown in Las Vegas; it pretty much sells itself.Comment
