look at what roach did with cotto towards the end of cotto's career... yeah cotto wasnt a completely new fighter but he did improved under roach with the circumstances that cotto was in.

had cotto stayed with his previous trainer during the end of his career, i believe cotto would have taken more damage and a few L's along with that. roach pretty much saved cotto's legacy.

roach will not try to change wilder much but he'll teach wilder on how to set up the power right like how he did with cotto with cotto's left hook.
Hmm; That's a very interesting observation.

People keep saying Wilder doesn’t listen to his trainers. Yeah, well he was undefeated before. Things change maybe.

or maybe the trainer is just too soft.. im not saying roach is a hard azz but im sure roach can get thru to wilder more so than wilder's current trainers.

I was thinking the exact same thing, he could revitalise him like he did cotto. Wilder is who is is at this stage so just look to improve what he does rather than reinvent the wheel

Wilder should have give Buddy McGirt a call.

McGirt would have noticed Wilder struggling to carry his costume and he would have thrown in the towel before Wilder finished his entrance.

Adam Booth would help Wilder the most 'But he should keep the other white man in his team for morale also' etc

I would not be surprised if the Hayemaker reaches out to Deontay Wilder.
