I wish he wouldn't have, I put a bet on Fury to win in the 8th round, and Fury would have KOed in the 8th if that towel didn't come in.
Jay Deas: I don't Think Mark (Breeland) Should Have Thrown The Towel

I sympathize with your position but there was another minute and a half to go in the round. Unless Fury backed off, Wilder didn't look like he was even going to last another 30 seconds, let alone 90.Comment

Fury was going to kill Wilder if it wasn't stopped. Wilder was hardly throwing a mf'ing punch after rnd 5Comment

Maybe he would have went down again, then held, maybe dropped again to close out the round.
By the 8th he down on the canvas and can't get back up.Comment

I lost all respect for Breeland when he legitimately suggested team AJ would pay off Ruiz to throw their rematch. It's such a distasteful comment and undermines all of the hardwork fighters put themselves through.
However i've gained a little more respect for him here because that was not an easy call to make, but it was absololtley the right one to make.Comment

Breeland made the right call. He obviously cares about his fighter. Wilder better keep him and drop the rest. He needs to learn a few things and add to his arsenal. Take out a can and get his confidence back and then work his way back into a major fight. He can do it!Um, not sure why he went against Breeland in the post-fight conference and threw him under the bus. Breeland made the right decision. Wilder's legs were shot after the 3rd round so what was the point of continuing the fight? He was just taking a ton of shots and could not generate any power on his punches.
Is Deas trying to get Breeland off the team?Comment
