Jay Deas: I don't Think Mark (Breeland) Should Have Thrown The Towel

Um, not sure why he went against Breeland in the post-fight conference and threw him under the bus. Breeland made the right decision. Wilder's legs were shot after the 3rd round so what was the point of continuing the fight? He was just taking a ton of shots and could not generate any power on his punches.

Is Deas trying to get Breeland off the team?

Stopping it was the only responsible option

It looked to me like wilder’s body language between rounds before the 7th, showed he didn’t want to continue...they could have stopped it there.

Jay Deas is finally showing his true colors and trying to become the main trainer. The white devil has finally planted the seed. This is what Al was afraid of that's why he fired Lou.

Nah, I don't think Wilder wanted to quit at any point. He just had no legs after the 3rd round and was taking a beating.

Breeland did the right thing in stopping it. It wasn't just the punishment Wilder was taking, it was that he was never going to regain his legs and couldn't generate any power on his punches. So the KO or big shot was never coming.

Jay trying to save his job. I will take gold medalist Olympian and good pro fighter Breeland's opinion on when the fight should be stopped over his.

This is why Mayweather said he couldn't train with anyone that had no boxing experience because they don't know what is going on or know what a fighter is going through. Breeland knows exactly what was going on and wanted to protect his fight. Much props to him for doing so.

Breland possibly saved the rematch. Deas should thank him.

It was a good call from Breeland. Wilder was incredibly tough but he took a huge beating, throwing in the white towel salvaged his career cause he was getting beat pillar to post. This trainer is out line throwing shade at the co-trainer who was looking out for Wilder.

Yea, he may not have overtly wanted to quit, but he was finished.
