I dont think he shares alis record at all, alis record was when there was only one champion and fury wilder and joshua ect would all have been forced to fight each other way before this point and wilder may not have even been champion if that was the way ,hed have had to have face wlad or fury in 2015 to win the championship under the same rules

Instesd he fought a michellin man with dreadlocks

Ali had to go through the toughest of the toughest and he was young when he was crowned and kept at the top level with outstanding fighters

Wilder got given his belt and has fought one credible opponant in louis ortiz who even so is trash

People say this era is weak ect but it most likely isnt its the fact that they chose who they fight if it was a one belt situation theyd have to fight every up and comer back to back and who knows whod come out on top, wilder could be a skitter in a toilet pan say if he fought joshua already and was never the same fighter after being kod

Its a shame the old ways are gone

Another point to make also but back in the day if yoh wanted a title shot you also couldnt cherry pick and pad a record to earn it you would have had to fight better opposition to stand out leading up to the fight aswell so these fighters would have all been smashed along the way heck theyd probably all beat each other at some point which is why comparing them to ali who beat anyone who mattered and always found a way to win against the best without cherrypicking or being handed titles, they fought each other when they were hot these days these chumps wait until the right time,

They probably dont mind fighting joshua now with the fat guy koing him but befofe that they wanted none of that and same goes for joshua to theyre cowards compared to ali, theyre **** on his boots that they would never be able to lace

George foreman would have smashed joshua, wilder and fury all in the same night easy as pie and im talking 90s foreman,it would have looked like that time he fought a few men in the same night but with less resistance

It’s an insult to put the two names together in an article. 10 defences, half of which might as well have been Bob the Builder and Tommy the Taxi Driver. That’s the problem with stats, we are bombarded by sporting stats, but when you cross over era’s in boxing it makes no sense

Cool, fair list. I just hate when people write such things and then there is nobody who meets their criteria.

The whole issue with Fighter 'X' only beats bums, so as soon as someone loses to him they must be a bum.

Hands down without a doubt, Wilder can’t hold Ali’s jock when it comes to both of their careers but Ali’s 10 consecutive title defenses weren’t all exactly world beaters before losing to Spinks, LOL!!! Ali did have 2 Hall of Famers among his 10 and with no draws. The only “potential” Hall of Famer among Wilder’s 10 title defenses is Fury.

                    Ali’s 10 consecutive titles defenses:

                    1. Chuck Webner
                    2. Rob Lyle
                    3. Joe Bugner
                    4. Joe Frazier
                    5. Jean Pierre-Coopman
                    6. Jimmy Young
                    7. Richard Dunn
                    8. Ken Norton
                    9. Alfredo Evangelista
                    10. Earnie Shavers

                    Wilder’s 10 consecutive titles defenses:

                    1. Eric Molina
                    2. Johann Duhaupas
                    3. Arthur Szpilka
                    4. Chris Arreola
                    5. Gerald Washington
                    6. Bermane Stiverne
                    7. Luis Ortiz
                    8. Tyson Fury
                    9. Dominic Breazeale
                    10. Luis Ortiz
