    Nope.

David Haye won all of his biggest fights all accept up against Wladimir Kiltschko. Haye from my perspective was the undisputed Cruiser-weight champion, he won the WBA, WBC, WBO & Ring magazine titles 'And would of won the IBF if Mormeck was not stripped of that title'.

And at heavyweight he took a risk and captured the WBA heavyweight title, the man was a maverick.

As a fighter in my opinion he was a by far better cruiser-weight that Usyk, and in time history will reveal that he was also a better heavyweight. From a technical/athletic perspective Haye was a extremely potent fighter, who had a very small operating window reminiscent of a formula 1 Car 'But if he was able to train into this operating window? He was a extremely difficult fighter to compete with etc' Out of all 28 of his wins, 26 of them where by Knock-out/Stoppage'.

Haye was inactive because of injuries, I have read his autobiography 'It was a minor miracle that he was able to fight in the latter part of his career, the doctors after surgery stated that he could never throw a punch again'.

David Haye would of ended Tyson Fury in 2013, that one fight changed the entire trajectory of heavyweight history 'Marvelous how people's perspectives change dramatically on Fury'.

The style was great so as long as Haye could land his overhand right. It ended up being a huge detriment and made an ageing Haye very vulnerable. I was amazed Haye was able to fold Chisora with his left hand because other than that it wasn't very dangerous. Haye in his prime was one of my favorite fighters but after Wlad, he failed to improve and regressed quickly. I think when he ducked Fury was when it was over.
Booth was lucky to have Haye land in his lap, and this is borne out by the large number of fighters who have split with Booth over the years. I think maybe Booth is more selecting the fighters he wants to work with, than the other way around... What was Booth doing before Haye came along, just being a PT instructor...

I don't know the full ins-and-outs of it, but I also wonder if we can't put some of the blame on Booth for Haye pulling out against Fury twice, you can see with the ongoing Kelly-Avanesyan promotion that Booth has form. In any case, Haye was smart in his later years definitely, though some might say snide. But good on him for going to HW

Of course Haye had a beautiful run at CW. The little toe thing, and complete ineptitude against Klitschko, p1ssed me off though. I don't know how you can say that Haye would've "ended" Fury in 2013, with so much height and reach advantage for Fury, I think it would've looked q. similar to the Klitschko fight

David Haye did not duck Fury twice 'He suffered a cut, and then a career ending shoulder injury'.

Fury has not got the power to deter David Haye 'A peak Kiltschko could hardly land a punch on David Haye' It was not so much the broken toe which effected him, it was the multiple injections in his leg 'Which unfortunately numbed his leg'.

Tyson Fury's defense is overrated he gets hit often in all of his fights, and he spent 80 % of his early career being bashed about 'Having wars with fighters like John Mcdermott'.

That is why I stated at the end of my last posts? It is marvelous how people's perceptions of Fury have changed dramatically 'The man is awkard fighter, but I still feel that the clumsy Fury is still lurking within him'.

Haye did fight the ATG slick shoulder roll and Rigo style defenseman, Nikolai Valuev. Haye comes from the cloth of Achilles too. Heel and all

              Assertions, no arguments

My perception of Fury has not dramatically changed over the years, he's always been underrated by most

Too many question marks, too many excuses, around Haye's later career. Clever management... as OP stated. Haye had a big mouth, couldn't bring it. Cf. Haye-Bellew

trouble is there were no other big fights. In fact facing Wlad isnt a particular big endeavour.
