They over paid to get GGG a belt and Dervy still made less then Canelo offered him. GGG isn't the backup plan to get some of the money they are passing on this time because GGG is already locked up with that bum ranked by the IBF. You pass on Canelo there is no immediate fight to make that money.
Anyone ****** enough to pay $10 million for that fight deserves to be broke

Derevyanchenko literally gets exactly what Canelo’s team offered to fight someone else days after the negotiations with Canelo’s team died.

Now GBP is lowballing Smith and Saunders, just like they lowballed Derevyanchenko. All the same people are howling about how ****** Saunders and Smith are for turning down the lowball offer.

      Why don’t we ever learn?

Derevyanchenko happened to get a fight with GGG who is a big name himself. Your argument is misleading. Will Callum Smith or BJS be able to find that type of opponent next if they decline a Canelo fight? Highly doubtful! Let's see who they fight next and what the purses are.

You realize Saunders was going to get $2.5 million to fight Andrade, right?

One title on the line, Americans didn’t care about either fighter.

Chavez Jr. got $3 million to fight Jacobs in a non title fight.

A unification fight at 168, they’re going to get paid.

Nothing says they have to double anything, where that rule at?

2.5M to be the opponent to a American fighter DAZN are pushing. Andrade keeps headling cards on DAZN while Saunders is fighting on the undercard of YouTube fights clearly one guy DAZN cares about more. 3M to a proven draw in the US coming off a successful ppv fighting Canelo also paid to come in as the opponent to a American fighter DAZN are pushing. Neither guy Smith or Saunders is a draw in the US or American to carry a card and both fighting each other without a bigger draw to pair them with is useless for DAZN drawing subscribers. Nobody in the US cares about Saunders or Smith unless they in with an American so DAZN ain't paying 10M for then to fight each other lmao

                Like regardless of the back and forth, this is what it ultimately comes down too;

1 if you are in the running to land a canelo fight

                And

2 you are confident that you can beat canelo

                And

3 your offer is at least 3x your career payday

Then, you’d be ****** to not jump at that opportunity because the real prize would be the money your name would demand by beating canelo... simple... these boys are missing one of the 3... it’s not the Candidacy, and it’s not the money so that leaves number 2, these boys lack confidence.

BJS has had one fight since signing with Hearn. So to say they don’t care about him is a little premature.

And we’ll see. DAZN is paying a lot of money for many, many things right now.

Exactly! And wouldn’t you agree that you would make more money by beating the biggest star in boxing?
