    2. Smith and Saunders can fight each other, Jacobs, GGG or Andrade and get the same money Canelo’s team offered. That’s what happens when GBP is cheap and DAZN is ****** with money.
NY official commission says he was paid 4M, unofficial reports (rumors) say he made 5.2M. whichever you believe he made 1.5M less or 300K less so no he didn't get the same money. Smith and Saunders are not each making the same money fighting each other as they got offered to fight Canelo LMAO

And GGG is not fighting them because he is trying to back into a 3rd payday with Canelo and isn't taking any risky fights until that happens. He won't even give Dervy a rematch. He's fighting a nobody Szeremeta who has 4 career KO'S. So neither are in the running to fight GGG if they pass on Canelo. After Szeremeta GGG is going back to begging to fight Canelo in Sept.

SD got 5-percent less to fight someone who’s half the draw.

If he had gotten the decision he deserved, he could have commanded more than twice what Canelo originally offered him for a fight that would have been demanded by the public.

Seems like a brilliant move to me.

In fact, if he gets a rematch with GGG, or beats another champion at 160 or 168, he can still command twice the money Canelo offered him for a fight that will be in demand.

Even if Smith and Saunders don’t get a GGG fight, they can still make what Canelo’s team offered to fight each other, Andrade or Jacobs.

Do you idiots ever think about the caveats?
            "90% admission revenue to Canelo"
            or
            "20ft ring"
            or
            "These 3 specific judges"
            or... I could go one.

These fighters want a fair shot at money AND a possible victory. Not just money AND a guaranteed loss.

he didn't get the same money like you said he did not matter how you try to spin it. And Canelo has moved on and has no reason to ever fight Dervy now that he passed he will never get a canelo fight in the future. His lottery ticket was being canelo's mandatory. Even if he beat GGG Canelo has no reason to fight him moved on to 175 might never fight at 160 again. If GGG were going to give him a rematch it would of been immediately he swerved that he's not a IBF mandatory now GGG has no reason to fight Dervy again and give him a payday. GGG is fighting only guys who are no threat or mandated by IBF as he tries to back into a 3rd fight with Canelo which might not even happen at 160 looking at who canelo is trying to fight 168 looks like where he will be at going forward.

SD got 95-percent of what Canelo’s team offered. It’s basically the same thing. In fact, it might have been 100% depending on other details of the contract we don’t know about. At worst it was 5% less, which means it was basically the same.

You don’t know that Canelo-SD wont ever happen, you’re guessing.

SD cashed his lottery ticket. He told Canelo’s team to give him $7 million, Go to purse bid or vacate. They said $5.5 or we’ll vacate. He told them to go f**k themselves and got $5.2 and a title shot. He didn’t tear up a lottery ticket, he cashed one.

If SD did beat GGG, Canelo would have reason to fight him. They would be the only two people to have beaten GGG. It would have been demanded by the public.

I never said a rematch with GGG will happen. That’s why I said if he gets another fight with GGG OR beats any other champion at 160 or 168.

Fact we know he got a 4M check to fight GGG. Even if you buy rumors of extra money to get to 5.2M which I don't know if I buy, almost is still not the same no matter how you keep spinning it. he was never getting another canelo fight offer no matter if you play make believe and say if he beat GGG he would of which never happened. Stop playing in the make believe what if land. He is getting no GGG rematch and never getting another canelo fight offer.

It’s not rumors, it was reported as $5.2 million. You’re acting like it was a message board rumor that he got $5.2 million. Everyone reported it was $5.2 million. All trained journalists.

$5.2 million is 95% of $5.5 million. If your boss said he has bad news, he can only give you 95% of your salary, would it even bother you? Would it change anything in your life? Nope.

You don’t know that he’ll never get a Canelo fight or a GGG fight. What if he fights Charlo and beats him, unifies with Andrade and wins that fight too? What if he moves up to 168, is named IBF mandatory, wins and then wins a unification fight? He can get those fights, it’s not impossible.

A whole bunch of what ifs and make believe by you to come up with a fake scenario for him to get a future canelo offer to replace the canelo offer he already turned down. Even taking unconfirmed high water mark he made is 300k less then Canelo offered him. 300K is not nothing. Dervy career high was 400k including a title fight with Jacobs. That's closer to his real market value then him ever getting another shot to fight Canelo.
