Does anyone else think Ortiz took a dive in the 1st Wilder fight?

Ortiz didn’t pass his pre fight physical and is not known for his stamina ,he punched himself out and that was a contributing factor of his stoppage .
Wilder did not take an immediate rematch and played it safe not fighting Ortiz almost to the 2020 year a month short and saw he didn’t look good after his fight in Kaufman or Hammer fights and I assume it was also a factor deciding on a second fight .Comment

He didn't punch himself out, I just rewatched it yesterday, it wasn't a fast paced fight.Ortiz didn’t pass his pre fight physical and is not known for his stamina ,he punched himself out and that was a contributing factor of his stoppage .

He just in inexplicably stopped fighting and Wilder cupped him with some slaps on the neck and shoulders, many of which missed completely if you watch the replay.
After eating some clean right hands from Wilder earlier in the fight im supposed to believe that this took him out had him flailing around trying to sell like pro wrestler?
Gtfo, he took a diveComment

You just made the thread to argue ,you don’t take a dive and take a solid shot in the 5th round to get back up and try and hurt Wilder . It doesn’t have to be a fast paced fight Ortiz was on his toes nearly the entire fight and moving a lot before the mid rounds ,that is tiring itself against a taller guy working your way inside. He didn't punch himself out, I just rewatched it yesterday, it wasn't a fast paced fight.

Ortiz landed at least ten unanswered shots ,you don’t do that either if you are hitting the sweat of your opponents in the front row where he was with a few seconds to possibly ending the fight, you got to be some weirdo to think that’s what one does to throw a fight .Comment

Not a big fan of wilder, but this is just ****** man.I mean, he was pretty much dominating the entire fight.
Then all of a sudden gets whacked with a shot that didn't look too damaging and he's flailing around on the floor.
Looked fishy to me, I think Big Gus took the dive money for his daughter's health issues personally.
Dude went to war, tried to take out wilder real bad — so how about that? That was also part of the plan? Almost getting wilder KTFO??
Then he got tired and was being hammered by the biggest puncher in the planet.
Oh how well played that was!!!!Comment

Not his biggest fan at all so I dont have bias towards him but I can safely say that he has unreal power and I think pretty much everyone recognizes that. Or at least should! He just has a scary power that others don't come close to right now
Didn't think it was a dive when I first watched it but then again, I haven't watched it again. In the rematch Wilder again displayed that power as he always doesComment
