Does anyone else think Ortiz took a dive in the 1st Wilder fight?

I mean, he was pretty much dominating the entire fight.

Then all of a sudden gets whacked with a shot that didn't look too damaging and he's flailing around on the floor.

Looked fishy to me, I think Big Gus took the dive money for his daughter's health issues personally.

Of course Ortiz dove. Haymon is fully invested in Wilder, Wilder is the one with the more earning potential. Ortiz has no drawing power. If it was a REAL fight Ortiz could win but Haymon doesn't take risks like that. Haymon owns wilder and ortiz so it's easy for him to rig the outcome that most benefits his long term business plan - which is Wilder being a fake Tyson KO machine who will be protected from ever losing.

Tyson earned hundreds of millions. The smartest move in boxing is to create and protect a FAKE Tyson. Haymon has done that and his name is wilder.

Wilder only fights haymon owned patsies and hired down on their luck freelancers like fury.

I dont think he took a dive either fight but hes not got a chin and he didnt have the power to put wilder away despite landing cleanly. Thats why he got a rematch, cause wilder knew ortiz couldnt knock him out and he had 12 rounds to land one shot on ortiz.

I’m not sure how to answer that.
It’s plain and simple Ortiz is a old man and he pushed the pace and threw way to many power punches early and had nothing left after 18 minutes of boxing. By the end of the 6th he was drained. His legs where like concrete . He never got his lungs up in a professional fight up until that point. Old tired legs .
        And that’s that

Some folks gotta stop with the conspiracy theories. How about Ortiz has old tired heavy legs. After 5-6 rounds he’s a punching bag

He took a dive in both fights. Breazeale took a dive as well.

Wilder will get brutally knocked out cold when he fights a legit heavyweight. I won’t be surprised if Fury and those girly punches either knocks him out or make him quit because I don’t see Fury taking a dive.

Looked like an obvious stamina issue to me..... the punches did not need to be hard as he could barely stand when they landed.

This was Wilder's tactic before the fight.... take him past 4 rounds and then pressure him. It too him a bit longer as I actually think Ortiz gave everything to stay in there and finish Wilder in the 8th.... he was on fumes after that.

Deontay hits so hard, people can't believe it's real.
