it doesnt matter what golden boy offered, if those offers are even true. it was a mandatory fight. go to purse bid. whoever ducks the bid ducked the fight. canelo ducked.
When did the WBC FORMALLY address the public or industry of the mando?

Where were the articles that the WBC gave GBP and Lions Only Promotions 30 Days to come with a deal or else purse bid?

some regular posters consistently support... " average "

You can call it elevated, promoted, demoted, anointed, reduced, whatever you want, but he vacated the WBC world middleweight championship because he wasn't willing to fight Jermall Charlo.

If GBP really wanted to make this fight, they would do their talking at the negotiating table and not in the press.
Seriously folks, would you take 10-12 mil for a Canelo fight? Especially if you were considered someone the masses wanted to see Canelo fight? That's like a 90 - 10 split in Canelo's favor.
Hopefully a fight with Charlo or Andrade vs. Canelo will get made while these guys are still in their prime. If not blame the business not the boxers.
lmao, I hope you are not serious.

"I support people who I believe are above 'average,' so that therefore means that I'm also above average, despite me doing completely **** all besides posting on a boxing forum." What a ****ing idiot.

                    so dumb

win or lose, it raises his profile

                    canelo is waaaaaaay bigger star

pbc is run really badly anyway. poor punditry, commentary, production, overall extremely amateurish outfit. they even show the odds for the fights, copying ufc, but the difference is boxing has way more mismatches, so showing the odds reflect badly on the sport, that is common sense but since the decision makers have no clue, it happens
