You could file it under rumor. I’m spreading it so the media can confirm. Imo this youtuber has good credibility though. To summarise for you he phoned both PBC and GBP about the Canelo offer and got 10mil and 12mil respectively.

10-12 mil Is a lot of money, in negotiations however, you never ever accept the first offer. So to me, charlo did the right thing. In boxing, decisions like this can also backfire. Why? Because charlo is basically betting on himself that he will continue to be champ, and continue to win matches until he gets a larger offer... which WILL happen as long as he keeps winning. But, he is also risking that 10-12 mil because if he loses, he will lose more than one 0... some 0’s will come off that offer if he even gets it by losing... I don’t see a duck, I see a confident charlo believing he will continue to win and will earn a bigger offer

No, he is not the supreme champion. He is the franchise champion, which is an honorary title that can't be won or lost. It's essentially champion in recess or champion emeritus. Meaning he didn't want to fight his mandatory and chose to vacate instead.

No, you’re wrong bro... he is franchise champ, but all that did was exempt canelo from being mandated. He can still fight charlo but they can’t send canelo to a purse bid anymore. So it’s a win win for canelo charlo and the wbc as well. Canelo didn’t vacate, he was elevated like you said

Canelo is no longer a WBC world champion. He vacated. He's been given an honor that can't be won or lost. If you can't lose it, and you can't win it, it's not a championship.

Im not arguing that he is or isn’t a champion. I’m telling you he didn’t vacate, charlo had 10-12 million reasons to fight canelo and he said no... so what about that?
