Ruiz Jr is just a one hit wonder and does not have what it takes to stay a champion. Anybody who knows this sport could see that. Joshua would beat Ruiz again and again and again. We will likely never hear from the fat Mexican again. He's rich now.

Robles was a good enough trainer to get him the belts in the first place.

Trainer was there when he Kod AJ. Firing him after his own loss is another attempt to save his face. The Fat *** could have took it serious. He knew. Plus his head trainer had little to do with his strength and conditioning coach that he supposed to have hired. He can fire his whole team and still be a disgrace to the sport.

Ruiz may have came in heavier but this is a man who has been competing heavy his entire life. Even if he came in at the weight he did for June he was always going to have the trouble closing the gap if AJ boxed and moved. This is what lots of us was saying for months about this rematch and it's exactly how it played out. If AJ stood there and traded it may have been the same outcome but AJ's not silly enough to make the same mistake twice.
Keep talking about the partying though. Ruiz and his team knew what AJ would do and couldn't prepare fully for it, just hoping AJ would abandon his game plan and stand there to trade.
You hit the nail on the head. Ruiz will always fair well in slugfests, but he simply is not mobile on his feet to deal with movement. Being lighter would help him some, but every fighter has some non-fixable limitations and his is foot speed on top of his obvious lack of discipline.
