Ruiz wasn't slow. Nor was he unable to put his punches together. AJ was permanently moving and Ruiz wasn't prepared for that tactics and couldn't cut the ring off. That was the problem.

Ruiz is basically satisfied with his achievements.
You can't really blame him.
He clearly lost the motivation to train and cut weight for the rematch with Joshua and its highly unlikely that he will ever be a genuine threat to the HW titles again. If he was focused and disciplined I genuinely think he would have beaten Joshua again ,but as things stand he will likely go into semi retirement and maybe comeback if he runs low on $$$.
