Right but from a business perspective, in a year or a year and a half they are both still in their primes. Only difference is Floyd gets the extra money from a Baldomir fight and the recognized title in the division (which some are calling for). And no I am not advocating that is why Mayweather-Baldomir should happen I am just explaining it from Floyd's perspective.

Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City was sold-out, as usual, for Gatti's demise at the hands of Baldomir. Every single fan there knows the name of the dragon that slayed their boxing warrior. Zab Judah fans know the monster's name, too. Even if the man is not the best fighter, my point is, he has gained name recognition....and that's name recognition on top of his 147 lb. linear championship. That, alone, makes him a worthwhile fight for those at Welterweight. A decent name with a belt, who most boxing enthusiasts and proffesionals see as a very beatable opponent. Why the hell not?

You failed to address any of the counter-arguments. So why is it a duck if he fights him in a year? IMO it isn't. And since I am confident htis fight will happen in the next 18 months what is the big concern. You can't call this a duck, at worst its a temporary delay. If Floyd NEVER fights him then its a duck.

My comment was simple. If you're going to say Floyd is ducking... then you better say Tony is ducking too. I don't care either way, just so long as they're both held to the same standards.

Well he's scheduled to fight September 9th... as he has been for some time.... and it's August third. At this point I'd say that fighting him is looking much more like the probable outcome. And then you Margarito fans need to get your **** together since I had somebody just a page or so ago comment how he was fighting him because he had to as his mandatory.... was I mislead?
