Margarito has been a welterweight for over 10 years. Why hasn't he fought a top 5 welterweight in all that time? **** all this ducking nonsense. Floyd Mayweather is considered a better all around fighter than Margarito and still people weren't scared to fight him. With the same promoter (Arum), how was Mayweather able to land the big fights at 130 and 135 and Margarito can't even land one?

Mosley openly stated that he wasnt ready for Marg when he was making his comeback he said he needed two more fights..over a year and a half ago. Judah said "not yet"....Floyd said no..

They are ranked 1 and 2 at welter and since originaly Floyd didnt think Baldi was worthy of ring "champ" status..which he openly expressed is his reason for still fighting Judah(which is crap because he just wants money) it made sense.....for them to fight, NOW he wants Baldi....

After beating Judah, most people (myself included) thought that Baldomir got lucky on one of Zab's off nights. His only win of significance was against Judah so you could attribute that to luck or chance or whatever. Then Baldomir beat Gatti, and while he is certainly no elite 147 pound fighter, he is more than average. That fight legitimized him to people like Floyd and gave Baldomir better recognition with boxing fans. So now the fight does make more sense than when Floyd fought Judah. Plus Margarito and Floyd are both young so there is plenty of time to make the fight. What is the rush (and don't say 8 million because if its there today why isn't it there down the road?).

exactley why they should fight they are BOTH in thier PRIME and the top two welter's besides Baldi(who earlier this year Floyd stated wasn't worthy and just got lucky)and who is like 35-36
