No way does he get over 8 mill for this fight.

Give it a break already. After he beats Baldomir he will be making well over 8 Mil, when he fights Mosley.

    Huge PPV.

      wow

well i wouldnt take this as %100 accurate because boxrec likes to jump ahead sometimes. anyway he should fight baldomir instead of margarito. baldomirs best opponent he beat is gatti, no i dont say judah b/c judah beat him no matter what those judges say. anyway thats more than margaritos ever done.

margaritos 3 best opponents are cintron, lewis, and antonio diaz.

gatti is better than all those guys

People can say what the want. If Floyd is ducking Tony, then Tony is ducking competent Welterweights by taking a fight with Cosme. For how deep the division is to be fighting him? Say what you will about FLoyd... but Tony is ducking everybody else then.

If Margarito is such a big name then why is it that no one never ever heard of him until his name was brought up on ESPN. Margarito is the lap dog to the Alphabet soup sanctioning bodies. He does what the WBO tells him.

Thank you for that post, if Margarito wants Mayweather so bad he should fight a NAMED fighter to build up the hype. NEWSFLASH: NO ONE EXCEPT BOXING FANATICS KNOW WHO ANTONIO MARGARITO IS!

Totally agree. I mean all people are talking about is that he won't get 8 million from Baldomir... guess what YOU'RE RIGHT. But guess what else, Margarito isn't retiring an time soon. If the fight is worth 8 million to Arum now, then what is it worth in a year or a year and a half after Floyd has fought Mosley and/or DLH and Margarito has beaten a few more recognized fighters? Think about it if the fight is worth 8 now, it can't be worth less in 12 months after both get more exposure.
