Now there is a point I can accept. You are totally right that Baldomir hadn't beat Gatti yet when the offer was on the table. The only thing I can say is that I think Floyd was waiting to see what happened there before he made the decision. If Gatti won, there was no fight to be made so maybe he would have gone with Margarito or just done something else.

No there is a little confusion going on. Baldomir won the recognized WW title from Judah. Floyd then had the option to fight Baldomir or Judah but selected Judah because he thought Baldomir was unworthy. Then after the Judah fight but before Gatti-Baldomir, Floyd was offered 8 million to fight Margarito. I think Floyd was already free from Arum when the offer came out but I am not sure.

yes , offer was made when Floyd was still in Arum's stable then again when Oscar turned Floyd down(when he wasnt in Arums stable) it was mentioned on Quite Frankly
