I watch him and Teofimo sparring and he did it there also . Thats a bad habit he has.

Cuba should build a statue of Gamboa for this alone or get in the hall of fame for going nearly the entire 12 with one leg against a rising superstar blue chip talent! The odds of him making to the 12th was like near Andy Ruiz odds vs AJ in first fight!

Conspiracy theory: What if Gamboa had partial rapture and cheapened out to make a proper surgery and then accidentally ruptured it totally?

Otherwise for what a fkind sake did he make TWO MIAs and refused from surgery???

You exaggerating, tim did stand, move, went the 12 & won the fight.

"A bit" more competitive? Are you nuts or just a Davis fanatic? Do you even know how serious an achilles tendon tear is? It puts athletes in other pro sports out for up to a year. The fact that Gamboa fought with such an injury from the 2nd round on and Davis couldn't stop him until a mercy TKO in the 12th round should tell you that a 100% Gamboa would've given Tank serious problems.

Idiot... shoe issues... officially diagnosed with tendon tear.

Ok, lady Maxi, but why not address what I said: the reports just a week or couple of weeks ago, on here, stating Gamboa would resume training in a month? Try one year if the tear is real.

Would Gamboa sideline himself for a year on a fake injury? Maybe he'll find the Pacman cure, saltwater.

                    Let's see how it unfolds?

I never saw any report saying a month. Want to post the link? All I saw was Gamboa saying he’d “hope to be back training in a month”. And the usual boxingscene troll skewing the quote to suit his agenda.

Former two division champion Yuriorkis Gamboa would like to return to training as soon as possible. Gamboa was in action this past Saturday night in Atlanta, when he was dropped three times and stopped in the twelfth round by Gervonta Davis. The vacant WBA "regular" lightweight title was at stake in the contest.

Said it before even having it properly examined.
