Do you think this GGG ducked Ward thing
the biggest nonsense in the sport of boxing?
I mean, they're not on the same division.
Most fighters who move up are allowed to fight bums
for their debut fights in the next division.
Case in point is Ward himself.
Charlo fought a one-legged opponent in Heiland.
    Broner fought semi-retired Malignaggi.
Garcia fought Juda, on and on and on and on...

Yet Glovkin has to fight the #1 P4P in the division?
Is this a joke or what?

Roy Jones facing James Toney in 94. Marquez facing Floyd 09 or Pac in 2011. Hatton facing Floyd in 07 and Pac in 09.

All were consensus top 3 at least.

I do agree that GGG didn’t duck Ward though. Ward never even fought at 168 again. I don’t think Team GGG were eager to make that fight but it wasn’t a “duck”.

It’d be like saying “Canelo is ducking Beterbiev”.

Okay, but would they have been called ducks if those fights didn't happen?

And he's still fighting sub par opposition to this day when there are lots of options to choose from.

                  Jones-Toney probably.

                  The others probably not.

I was wrong about Pac-Hatton also that fight was at 140.
