Lennox Lewis= Top 3 in History

I agree he's in the ATG discussion, especially H2H. LL was very big man for the 90's HW division and had serious skills. The only knock on him Is that he was starched twice while in his prime.I'm surprised that Lennox Lewis doesn't get more love when it comes to the All-time GOAT list. His resume is one of the strongest in history. No HW fighter beat every man he faced while doing it against strong competition.
-Olympic Gold Medalist
-3 time HW Champion
-Retired as the HW Champion
Beat:
Razor Rudduck
Mike Tyson
Evander Holyfield
Vitali Klitschko
Muhammad Ali is the GOAT but after that Lennox Lewis compares just as well to Joe Louis, George Foreman, Sonny Liston.

Lewis in his prime can hang in any era. Especially those smaller HW era, he is very underrated IMHO. I mean he took on Vitali who is very durable and stop him on cuts in a fight he was losing. He throws a different arsenal of punches, he has the right speed for a big man and I could see him destroying this current top of HW in the same year, back to back.. I would have love to see him and Wlad share the ring.Comment

If you give a credit to Lennox for beating Mike Tyson, than you must give Mike Tyson a credit for beating Holmes.
And, yeah, Larry Holmes had better career than Lennox.Comment

Tyson was well past his prime by the time they fought, but I still think Lewis was a nightmare matchup for him regardless. And you forgot to add he whitewashed Tua as well.
Top 3 GOAT, I'm not sure he's up there, but top 3 for HWs, I can get with that.Comment

Ranking Heavyweights is a bi.tch. They're not the same size, so you're kinda doing a P4P list.
I guess it depends on your criteria:
Head-to-Head
Longevity
Precociousness
Defenses
Quality of Opposition
How he advanced the sport
the eye test
Fury easily tops the list: No one beats that guy when he is on; best defensively; best comeback in Boxing history. Everyone else, even at their best or near it, was beaten.
Ali and Lewis obviously round out the top 3.
Holmes probably sneaks in before anyone else.
Then you have guys like Vitali, Foreman and even Frazier.
After that you can start talking about Lewis.
Something like this is probably about as close as you'll get to accurate:
Fury
Ali
Louis
Holmes
Klitchko
Foreman
Frazier
Lewis
Klitchko
Dempsey
Wilder
Holyfield
Marciano
Norton
Tyson
