I’m just saying off skills and mental capacity alone...but yea, just the pure athletic talent gap would be insurmountable. Idk, it’s like watching the wnba for me. Sure they may be the best at what they do...but I can’t just look at that after watching lebron lol.

They're few and far between, but there are still some great female fighters

I hype up Jessica McCaskill whenever the opportunity presents itself (this being one of those) But I also don't make many threads. I think I've only made six or seven in the last two years.

Sheilds does piss people off though, for right and wrong reasons.

The big problem with womens boxing is that all the best fighters are in different divisions. You have maybe six or seven amazing fighters in the whole sport. In the mens you've got that many in each division.

I think changing the rounds to three minutes was an excellent start though. There was really no reason for that since all the fighters hated it.

Sadly because of the harshness of boxing and thus fewer participants I think the average female boxer is probably far worse than the average female WNBA pro.

I still try and watch most of their televised fights though. Seniesa Estrada is entertaining I think, same Jelena Mrdjenovich. She get some legit KO's. Can't find many of the highlights but this is a brutal one.

There's some up and comers looking pretty good too that I've seen on the RING IQ BOXING TALK channel on YouTube. Guy knows his stuff when it comes to women's boxing probably better than anyone else I have seen online.

Yea, it would help their sport grow if it was more competitive and there were more competitors overall. I guess that’s the issue tho, most females don’t wanna fight...where most young males are inclined to fight. Different natures.

I think you’re right about that. I can’t remember which televised shields fight it was, but her opponent looked like she was literally picked from the crowd lol. She didn’t resemble a professionally trained fighter in the slightest.
