“Great” is relative. The talent pool is extremely shallow.
It is, but those are some of the absolute best female fighters across three weight classes. Gabriels and Hammer especially have been top level fighters for a long while.
Besides Cecilia Braekhus, Chevelle Hallbeck, and Lalya McCarter there aren't many fighters with a resume that compares to Shields.
She deserves a ton of credit. But, again, she also still way oversells it.

I get you, but what I’m saying is it’s kinda hard to take as some serious accomplishment when there’s literally less than 50 professional fighters in the entire world competing in some of those weight classes.

There aren't that many females in the higher weight divisions. Women in general just don't come that big when they're in good shape.
But you can watch someone like a Hammer, a Gabriels, a Braekhus, a McCarter, or a Shields and see that they're legit.
No, it's not the same as coming out on top of a men's division with thousands of fighters in it. But at the very top level, these are still elite and world class athletes and that's who Shields has faced for 6 of her 9 fights.

Yeah I mean this Nikki Adler woman had a real world title but if you look a bit into it it's pretty bad. She won it from Zane Brige (https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/446553) who was 2-3 at the time coming off a loss... to Adler..... and who was overweight on the scale. Then defended it twice vs very lackluster competition who went on to have pretty awful negative or double digit almost 20 loss record. Then lost it to Shields.
Also if you watch even moments of her fight with Claressa Shields she was like a human heavy bag getting pummeled the whole fight Then she lost to Femke Hermans who is also arguably quite bad then retired?

Shields looks like she has some skills...hammer looked like she didn’t know wtf to do at all vs shields tho. Most women just aren’t built to be fighters, period. They get punched in the face and all bets are off...it’s like they completely forget everything they’ve learned. I’d pick any C level male fighter to beat the very best female fighter...and I’m not talking brute strength either. These women would get outboxed easy by micky ward.
Yet it seems Clarissa Shields is getting a lot of attention...amazing isnt it..She must be a huge star or on here way to be one
Its called promotion. Not many care about women boxing. Not when you can go on youtube and see real girls fight and it be fun to watch. And face it MMA women are better to watch.

Of course they'd lose to the men. That was never a question for any rational person.
Gender divides exist for the same reason weight classes exist. Sometimes it's just a matter of basic physics.
