As amateurs, Usyk, Loma, and Beterbiev all won either world championships, Olympic gold medals, or both, in the case of Loma and Usyk.

Ortiz won neither and never even qualified for the Olympics.

Ortiz was a decent amateur, Usyk, Loma, and Beterbiev were elite amateurs. Loma is arguably the amateur ATG.

Another important difference is the time factor. Right now, as pros, Usyk, Loma, and Beterbiev are still in their fighting primes. Ortiz isn't.

Apparently, the only difference you can see between those 4 guys is their race. My advice to you is to take the plank out of your own eye before you start trying to take the speck out of somebody else's.
Hmmm, so it's all about the amateurs, but only if you win the gold or some kind of championship. But it's no longer about hundreds of wins and only 15 losses or so.

Yet, these guys that love these amateur fighters, hate Andre Ward.

Then to try and confuse things, they call Ward white

This is really a wacky place

They're schitting on Ortiz to discredit Wilder.

Here's why its racial. The guys that love amateur fighters, hate great black amateur fighters.

The same guys that clamour for KO's, hate black fighters that give knockouts.

The same guys that love the business side of boxing, hate black boxers that are businessmen.

I can give you countless examples and theories that have been proven to be true on this site every Saturday night and Sunday morning

It's a racial thing, not nationalist or cultural. Racist.

Oh and being a black Cuban from Cuba is different than being African American in the U.S. I have 400 years of proof.

Usyk's best achievement was becoming undisputed at 200; Ortiz's best achievement was nearly knocking Wilder out in a fight he lost. Ortiz is no bum, but he's a couple steps behind Usyk.

Dude, there's a laundry list of posters that love KO's when Golovkin, Beterbiev or Usyk knocks someone out, but for some reason hate Wilder, Tank and Hated on Jacobs when he was getting ready to fight G back when Danny had a 90% KO ratio.

They hated Mayweather for being a business man, but love GGG for doing the EXACT same thing! The exact posters!

They talk about the amateurs and how great Usyk, Beterbiev, etc were, but find a way to hate on Ortiz when he was 355-15 (to discredit Wilder)and when Ward won a gold medal and hasn't lost since he was 12.

They loved G for having however many straight KO's, but hate Tank and Wilder.

It's a serious racial issue man. You guys always rationalize it. But the English language allows for liars to flourish. Always has.

There you go with these alternative facts. Golovkin got a bunch of criticism for his opposition pre-Jacobs and I don't remember Beterbiev being a hot topic on this board until recently. Usyk deserves the praise he gets. He unified a division against stiff competition, and has a skill level comparable to Lomachenko.

Wilder gets criticised, because he made his name off of Joshua, who he ducked to fight for less than what he was offered. Tank is criticized for fighting nobody of note since Pedraza and going to 12 with an old, glass-jawed cripple in his last fight. I don't think I've ever seen anyone hating on Jacobs. If there was Jacobs hate, there couldn't have been much on here.

People mainly hated Mayweather, because he created a persona that was easy to hate, as well as the domestic violence stuff.

I've mostly seen people calling Ortiz old and pointing out his heart problems. I've only seen one person criticise his amateur record until you made this soft ass thread. You're race baiting like a motherfucker.

This has to be one of the softest things I've ever read here. GGG tried to fight the best in his division for years, and didn't get his big break until he was already in his mid-30s. Wilder won the WBC belt and tried to unify not once, even turning down over $100m at one point. Tank knocked out Pedraza in 2017, and who has he fought since? He had Betchelt, Farmer, Machado and Lomachenko calling him out at 130, and the closest he got to facing once of them was pricing himself out of a match against Farner on Twitter.

Using your method of ignoring levels and rating fighters solely by win - loss ratio, Andre Ward, 32 - 0, is the 3rd best SM champion ever.

Above him are Sven Ottke, 34 - 0 at No 2 and the ATG Joe Calzaghe, 46 - 0 at No 1.

Floyd worked hard at being hated. That was part of his plan to attract more PPV buys.

Ortiz's amateur record only gets criricised when people like the OP try to build it up to be something it clearly wasn't.

And do you know why he has a lot of Silver at the "domestic" level?
