Race is obviously your only motivation for starting this thread, otherwise you wouldn't even be talking about it while ignoring the real and important boxing differences between Usyk, Loma, Beterbiev, and Luis Ortiz.

As amateurs, Usyk, Loma, and Beterbiev all won either world championships, Olympic gold medals, or both, in the case of Loma and Usyk.

Ortiz won neither and never even qualified for the Olympics.

Ortiz was a decent amateur, Usyk, Loma, and Beterbiev were elite amateurs. Loma is arguably the amateur ATG.

Another important difference is the time factor. Right now, as pros, Usyk, Loma, and Beterbiev are still in their fighting primes. Ortiz isn't.

Apparently, the only difference you can see between those 4 guys is their race. My advice to you is to take the plank out of your own eye before you start trying to take the speck out of somebody else's.

Hmmm, so it's all about the amateurs, but only if you win the gold or some kind of championship. But it's no longer about hundreds of wins and only 15 losses or so.

I certainly agree that Ortiz gets sheit on, and many people contradict themselves in things like this, but I don't think it's racial. I don't think they're just sheitting on Ortiz because of his pigment.

I say that because most of the people sheitting on Ortiz, are hyping up AJ. I can't say, "you're racist for sheitting on a black man, while boosting up another black man." It's tribalist, and "nationalist." It's US vs UK, moreso than black vs white.

They're schitting on Ortiz to discredit Wilder.

Here's why its racial. The guys that love amateur fighters, hate great black amateur fighters.

The same guys that clamour for KO's, hate black fighters that give knockouts.

They hated Mayweather for being a business man, but love GGG for doing the EXACT same thing! The exact posters!

There you go with these alternative facts. Golovkin got a bunch of criticism for his opposition pre-Jacobs and I don't remember Beterbiev being a hot topic on this board until recently. Usyk deserves the praise he gets. He unified a division against stiff competition, and has a skill level comparable to Lomachenko.

Wilder gets criticised, because he made his name off of Joshua, who he ducked to fight for less than what he was offered. Tank is criticized for fighting nobody of note since Pedraza and going to 12 with an old, glass-jawed cripple in his last fight. I don't think I've ever seen anyone hating on Jacobs. If there was Jacobs hate, there couldn't have been much on here.

He had Betchelt, Farmer, Machado and Lomachenko calling him out at 130, and the closest he got to facing once of them was pricing himself out of a match against Farner on Twitter.

Using your method of ignoring levels and rating fighters solely by win - loss ratio, Andre Ward, 32 - 0, is the 3rd best SM champion ever.

Above him are Sven Ottke, 34 - 0 at No 2 and the ATG Joe Calzaghe, 46 - 0 at No 1.

You're just comparing numbers which doesn't mean much. It appears most of Ortiz's success was at the domestic level in the amateurs. Never won an Olympic medal, don't think he ever even competed or qualified for the Olympics. Won 1 pan am games gold and a Cuban national gold. Lots of silver and bronze in Cuban tournaments even.
