You're just comparing numbers which doesn't mean much. It appears most of Ortiz's success was at the domestic level in the amateurs. Never won an Olympic medal, don't think he ever even competed or qualified for the Olympics. Won 1 pan am games gold and a Cuban national gold. Lots of silver and bronze in Cuban tournaments even.

Leave it be, Usyk at one point named Ortiz as one of his picks as a debut opponent at heavyweight but soon learned that would be a horrible mistake an then went with Chazz Witherspoon!

If Ortiz was so easy work then guys like Parker, Hughie Fury, Tyson Fury, Joshua(pre Miller/Ruiz), Povetkin, and Whyte would’ve fought been fought him!

Joe Joyce called him out but then his own team told him he would lose an he’s not ready despite being in his 30’s!

No one was ever anxious and itching to fight Ortiz except Wilder, give the man credit for fighting someone he didn’t have to fight and gave the opportunity to when he could’ve did what everyone else does and act like King Kong doesn’t exist!
