Good strategy if Tyson Fury is the winner. Bad strategy if Deontay Wilder just so happens to be the winner. Fury would fight him while Deontay won't

If Joshua ignored his mandatories and got stripped, and Wilder vs Fury ends up as a draw, then he is worse off than he is now.

If he ignores his mandatories and got stripped and the winner of Wilder/Fury proves a difficult fight to make -- which isn't that hard to to imagine -- then he is worse off than he is now.

I say he is much better off to get the mandos out of the way and then
push again for a unification once the dust has settled from Wilder/Fury.

Joshua has flaws, but I don't think being scared of Pulev is one of them.

Obviously, Warren and Arum are not on one accord or on the same page. While Warren is telling Joshua to wait and fight the winner of Wilder/Fury in order to avoid his mandatory challengers. Bob Arum on the other hand is like saying nah fuck that! My guy Pulev is training his ass off! "He is going pressure Joshua and knock him out".

Although Warren makes sense (because AJ waiting could ultimately benefit Fury should he beat Wilder), I still think AJ should try to keep his titles from falling into a PBC fighter's (i.e. Kownacki) hands. The only way he's going to truly get over his first loss is to stay busy and keep improving. He should face Pulev while Hearn tries to convince Usyk to wait or step aside (if necessary). An ideal match-up for Hearn would be Usyk vs. Kownacki.

If he done that he probably may have never got his hands on the belts again. In hindsight it was a master stroke, he was pummelled by Ruiz but had the courage to at least face his slayer and win his belts back. It’s inevitable he would cautious. I was not overly pleased with his performance as a fan but he boxed to instructions which is easier said than done.

My opinion if he did not rematch for those belts there would be 3 different champions within a year.( just the governing body politics)
Anyway as for Frank Warren he should mind his own business but if Fury won in February there would be an immediate rematch so where will that leave Joshua?

Usyk vs kownacki is a relatively easy fight for Usyk. I think Usyk vs Chisora is more ideal for Hearn as I doubt PbC will agree to kownacki fighting on Dazn and if so it won’t be for chump change

Joshua is garbage. Ruiz proved that. Fury is the best if he can beat Wilder again depending on the judges. Unless Fury can get a TKO this time

AJ will have zero problems with Pulev. Pulev has no punch and the fight is going to end like Pulev‘s disaster versus Klitschko.

Why would Hearn and Joshua listen to Arum's British secretary?

Warren still trying to remain relevant. You lost your fighter mate, give it up.
