It was a mandatory fight. Hold a purse bid and the winning side chooses what network carries the fight. Very simple.

Take him to court? He would lose. No court would side with him for preventing a fighter he manages from making top dollar. It probably doesn't matter because it is extremely unlikely Canelo will ever offer him a fight. In the time Canelo has been the middleweight champion he has never once spoke of the possibility of fighting Jermall. It's as if Jermall does not exist.
If Canelo had been willing to pay Charlo enough to bring him to DAZN for a mandatory fight, the WBC wouldn't have needed to come up with the idea of having Franchise champions to avoid a repetition of what happened with Canelo's IBF belt.

Can Canelo even go back to 160? Or is he going to make a 164lb Canelo weight and start picking up SMW titles?

Maybe not to Haymon. But if Charlo is being honest with himself he knows that is a great payday for one fight.
That's 7x more than he'd get rematching Korobov

If it's $6 or $7 million he should take the fight. Plain and simple.

He didnt make even half of that to fight Dennis Hogan in his last bout.

You mean a 30 yr old grown ass man still needs permission from his uncle?

If that is the case then the Andrade-Charlo fight can never be made. He can easily say my uncle would not allow me.
