Would Al Haymon allow Charlo to fight Canelo on DAZn

i don’t think so, the man has been offered plenty of money to take easier fights that could lead to a Canelo fight. Why should anyone believe Canelo is ducking Charlo? How many times have ppl said Canelo won’t fight so and so and the man gos and fights that oponnents and win lose or draw he takes that risk. How many times has Charlo done that? Why should anyone pressure Canelo and not Charlo?

Because Charlo was Canelo's mandatory and Canelo refused to fight him. Canelo chose to vacate his WBC world championship rather than fight Charlo. Haymon absolutely would have allowed Charlo to fight Canelo on DAZN.

It was a mandatory fight. Hold a purse bid and the winning side chooses what network carries the fight. Very simple.

I think he would. In fact I don't see how he could stop Jermall from fighting Canelo and making the biggest payday of his career. What could he do to stop him from accepting the fight? Take him to court? He would lose. No court would side with him for preventing a fighter he manages from making top dollar. It probably doesn't matter because it is extremely unlikely Canelo will ever offer him a fight. In the time Canelo has been the middleweight champion he has never once spoke of the possibility of fighting Jermall. It's as if Jermall does not exist.

Why should Jermall have to take fights that could lead to a Canelo fight???????? He is already a world champion and that is as high as he can go. Just like the GGG situation. Canelo said get a belt to earn a fight with his royal highness. GGG got a world title belt but Canelo still won't fight him and he will probably never fight Jermall either. More likely Canelo fights either Saunders or Callum Smith in Vegas because they both looked poor in their last fight.

When canelo calls you answer. That stated, I believe pbc could outbid gbp at the purse bid so I would be interested to see how things went down.

I think Mall is going to have to go to DAZN like Bud is going to have to go to Fox/Showtime to fulfill their legacy in the sport to its fullest potential. And I think Bud is going to have the harder go of it cuz Al is more fighter getting paid friendly than Bob.

The fact still remains that most of Bob's biggest name fighters had their biggest paydays without Bob. I think it's a even money bet right now Bud will be one of those guys too although he might be 34 or 35 before he sees it.

which is a completely different scenario...

yeah 7 mil is a nice number...its not worth it to haymon or charlo though...if it were theyd do it...but its not....

an andrade fight brings probably half the money and maybe 1/4 the attention a canelo fight does....plain and simple

landing a canelo fight today is the equivalent of landing a floyd fight 7 years ago....actually better pay....
