OP doesn't realize Canelo is in his prime. The guys don't want to get countered. As if their camps don't know about Canelo.

    Golovkin - just jabs
    Golovkin 2 - just jabs
    Jacobs - just jabs
    Kovalev - just jabs

so all these guys just act? Mexican Style? Miracle Style? Krusher Style?

OP seems to forget that Spence was the favorite to KO Mikey. What was the height difference between Mikey and Spence vs Canelo and Krusher.

Who has the better Ring IQ, Mikey or Canelo.

The fight wasn’t fixed exactly. I mean that Kovalev tried the best he could with what he had that night, just what he had wasn’t much. With a few more weeks to rest and no contractual shenanigans with weight and I think he probably wins it. As it was he was only a couple rounds shy of winning it anyway.

If that fight wasn't fixed he would have torn canelo apart.

That's not me fanboying, that's me telling the truth. I'm not even a kovalev fanboy, i'm just a boxing fan.
This would be true if Canelo had fought Kovalev 4 years ago, which we all know he would never have done.

But a 36 year old Kovalev with a historical alcohol problem, on a 3 month turn around from a physically draining fight against Yarde with no recuperation break between camps, and possibly weight drained by a rehydration clause ... that's a different story.

Unfortunately he did... I wish Kovalev has a time machine where he could have gone back 5/6 year (War/body wear and tear).

But a man who has seen kovalev fight knows that that wasn't kovalev in front of canelo that night.

It was fishy right from the jump because why the **** would Oscar put canelo up against a retiring fighter who was that dangerous? It doesn't make any sense. If canelo beats him, he's old, if canelo loses, he got beat by an old man.

It's a deal that makes absolutely zero sense, unless there was no chance kovalev was going to win... which if you know the sport, and you know oscar, is exactly why he made the ****ing deal.

He bought kovalev off to take a dive. Kovalev knew he wouldn't be getting any more big fights and he took oscar's retirement gift and decided to take it easy.
Oscar made the fight with Kovalev because Canelo demanded that fight. That's why it was made.
It was Canelo's decision to fight Kovalev not Oscar's.
